| This query service provides information about the relative distance between spatial things, i.e. things that have a spatial location, e.g. what is the distance between Kabul and Kandahar. This query will assume straight line geometry for the purposes of simplicity, i.e. shortest distance between two spatial locations. The services accepts as input two spatial things and a designated measurement unit and returns the linear distance between the specified inputs. |
