Recommendations
Adopt a planning model for all Informatics Institutes that works in foreseeable cases.
Allow a reasonable “Pick and Mix” of work. LFCS, HCRC, AIAI, etc are just specific cases.
The model is proposed for these reasons:
- Allows assessment of financial stability in good and lean times for all Institutes.
- Encourages flexibility, mobility, joint work.
- Imposes no artificial barriers within Informatics.
- Transparency to assist decision making.
