Second Life the 3D virtual world which generated significant press interest in 2006, is now well established.  Billed as creating a revolution in the political and financial world,  companies from Reuters to Microsoft, Nissan to Mercedes have set up shop, keen to make sure they don't miss out on this new virtual economy - but is Second Life a serious business opportunity or merely escapism ?

Our speaker, Austin Tate, Director of the AIAI Institute, and his SL counterpart 'AI Austin', will discuss current activity in Second Life, and explore how companies and organisations are using it in their business now, and potential developments.
