Systems Configuration

Current Agreed Configuration - CoAX Binni 2002 Version - as at 29-Oct-2002

Configuration Change Procedure for CoAX Binni 2002

Proposed changes should be notified to coax@aiai.ed.ac.uk. [NOTE: This will only apply after the first versions are listed and settled upon.]
Patrick Beautement, Mark Burstein, Jeff Bradshaw and Austin Tate (the CoAX PI Team) will provide feedback.
When a change is approved it will be recorded as a proposed change in the current configuration file.
When you show the demonstration to a member of the CoAX PI Team and they approve its integration, that PI Team member will mail coax@aiai.ed.ac.uk and Austin Tate will make the current configuration change at that time.
The whole CoAX team decide when to freeze a current system for any nominated demo. That will then be copied in the configuration table and changes to the current setup will again be permitted as the basis for future demonstrations.

Java Development Kit
- Windows NT/2000/XP: 1.3.1
- Linux: 1.3.1
CoABS Grid Software
- Windows NT/2000/XP: 3.3.1 with addition of a missing class file (SerializableComparator) in grid-dl.jar
- Linux: 3.3.1 with addition of a missing class file (SerializableComparator) in grid-dl.jar
Other dependencies noted:
- IHMC KAoS - Xerces XML Parser - version 1.4.4.
- AIAI I-X Process Panels - Xerces XML Parser - version 1.4.4; JDOM - Java DOM Code - version ??
- Note that Xerces-2 has different interfaces and is not used in CoAX- Xerces 2 XML Parser

Configuration Change Procedure for CoAX Binni 2001

When you propose a change of your modules or add new parts that need to be described in the configuration files that you mail coax@aiai.ed.ac.uk so everyone else knows what is being integrated. Give the module or file name used in the current configuration table below or the new entry name. Give the new version and revision date in the file you are providing. That will help in team communication and Austin Tate will note this as a proposed change in the current configuration file.
When QinetiQ integrates it into the demo, or in future whoever has that responsibility, they notify coax@aiai.ed.ac.uk and Austin Tate will make the current configuration change at that time.
