Workflow considers business processes which focus on the transmission of 
information between people, intelligent manufacturing those which 
involve material resources and machinery. But how far are the same 
problems being considered in slightly different guises? What can the two 
fields learn from each other? And can similar AI Planning and Scheduling 
technologies be used on both? Come to the PLANET workshop to discuss 
these issues.

GOAL OF THE WORSKHOP:

To understand the common issues and difficulties in handling Intelligent 
Manufacturing and Workflow Management as similar fields of application 
for AI planning and scheduling.


FORMAT OF THE WORKSHOP:

Open to everyone interested in the theme, in particular members of the 
PLANET network in the Intelligent Manufacturing and Workflow Management 
TCUs. PLANET will contribute to the expenses of one delegate from each
