Definition The course of action for air operations is implemented through the Joint Air Operations Plan. The joint air operation plan documents the plan for integrating and coordinating joint air operations. The plan encompasses operations of capabilities/forces from joint force components. Features of the plan should include: 1. The integrated efforts of the joint air capabilities/forces. 2. Objectives and targets identified by priority order. 3. An account for current and potential adversary offensive and defensive threats. 4. Target development/system analysis. 5. Phasing of joint air operations.
