Blogging Everest

When we met Rob a couple of weeks ago, he mentioned the idea of setting up a blog-like page where he could - either directly or (more likely) indirectly through someone here - post details of his progress.

A first stab at a simple blogging page can be found [here].

Blog can now be updated from an I-X panel by sending a message over jabber to a designated 'blogging agent'. However, now need to think about exactly what information we want to send, and how it might be best represented on screen. This maybe includes:

• location
• weather
• status
• time

Also need to think about the way in which Rob will be transmitting information from Everest, which will influence what is and is not practical...Communications Infrastructure.
