Hedlamp (Huddersfield + Edinburgh - Learning and Adaptation of Models
for Planning)

A joint grant between Edinburgh (Tate/Wickler) and
Huddersfield (McCluskey) Universities under EPSRC's Autonomous &
Intelligent Systems (AIS) Programme starting in March 2012 for 3
years. Huddersfield will explore Domain Model Generation and Machine
Learning and Edinburgh will focus on Rich Plan Representation and
Dynamic Multi-agent Planning as well as Mixed-Initiative Operations
Centres. The project will work with the AIS programme industrial
partners and a number of government agencies to promote the work for
practical uses in applications areas such as Rail Infrastructure,
Space Vehicles, Nuclear Decommissioning and Co-operative Vehicles.
