The Agent Toolkit is a set of tools and an API (Application Programmer's Interface) for allowing 'agents' to communicate under MS Windows.
For the purposes of this document, an agent is a program which performs a well-specified task, and publishes an API which can be called at run-time by any other agent on the same Windows machine.
