Definition |
Any military action involving the use of electromagnetic and directed energy to control the electromagnetic spectrum or to attack the enemy is considered electronic combat.
This activity plans, coordinates and tasks all EC missions.
Many of the allied forces that participate in theater operations will not have organic electronic combat capabilites and therefore rely on US provided support. In the interest of effective integration of all employed forces, the full range of EC support is provided. |
