The Combat Plans Directorate of the Air Operations Center is responsible for planning all aspects of the air operations in the theater. This includes the establishment and refinement of the command and control aspects of air operations, the planning of the resources required to support air operations, and the planning of the air missions themselves. All of this planning is to support the aims and objectives identified by the Joint Task Force Commander and national authorities. The primary product of Combat Plans is the Air Tasking Order. |
