A Simple User's Guide to run Edify's To Do List System: Jessica Chen-Burger, Austin Tate December 2001 1. Upzip and install the application at a top level drive, e.g. f: A subdirectory will be created, e.g. f:\I-X 2. To execute, run the script: f:\I-X\apps\edify\scripts\win\edify.bat. This will firstly open the server panel, ITEST: as described in: f:\I-X\apps\edify\scripts\win\edify-itest.bat 3. Locate the I-TEST script window, titled "Edify Process Panels" and wait for a short while before pressing "space bar". This will open the two client process panels: CCS and CSR, as described in: f:\I-X\apps\edify\scripts\win\edify-ccs.bat f:\I-X\apps\edify\scripts\win\edify-csr.bat 4. To invoke all of the user scenarios, use the TEST menu either on the I-TEST, CCS or CSR process panels. I-TEST acts as an external agent to the To Do List Manager which receives external (and internal) events and will delegate tasks to the appropriate agents. The test menu on both CCS and CSR process panels provide user scenarios for its own panels. 5. The user scenarios are described in the User Scenario document. The underlying UCAS business process model of the process panels is given in the UCAS business process model document.
