OntoCopi: Ontology Based Community of Practice Identifier.
It analyses an Ontology Network to identify similar entities in a knowledge based. The system firstly allows the user to select an instance. It then applies a spreading-activation algorithm to identify the closest set of instances to the selected one based on specific weighting on the relations of the ontology.
It exists in two versions: one is based on Protégé as a Plug-in; and the other one is based on the Triple Store that works as an applet. The algorithm and mechanism of them are the same. |
